People with money

Many of us associate them with someone on the scale from business school novice to power-hungry IT mega-entrepreneur.

We definitely don't want to occupy a place on this scale. As a result, we use money daily for small and large expenses, but ignore any other benefits that money can have.
I want to use this blog to break down the stigma surrounding the great taboo of "money." Every single one of us deserves a small piece of the money pie, and it's much more attainable than we think. Of course, the business school graduates in their uniform polo shirts and oversized laptop bags are a step ahead of us. Many of them were born with financial self-confidence.

But even if they appear to be a closed group with top-secret insider knowledge, they have no more right to know about money than the rest of us ordinary mortals.
Many of the basics are actually much more accessible than we think and not particularly complex.

About me

Hello my friends,

My name is Anna. I'm originally from Berlin and currently studying economics and philosophy in Frankfurt am Main. I'm trying to find the right balance between my studies, living in a shared apartment, making new friends, and my part-time job. During my studies, I've realized that I've never really dealt with money before. For a long time, money was a topic that was rarely discussed in my social circle. Only in recent months, since more of my friends have started financing their own apartments, working alongside their studies, or receiving financial support from their parents, has money become a frequent subject of conversation. In Frankfurt, I'm now right at the source of all kinds of financial theories and tips. I've started asking my fellow students who have been managing their own finances for several years. I've also bought a few beginner's books on how to beat the money from the finance bros. It's made me realize that by ignoring my own finances, I've missed out on a lot of knowledge that can shape our entire lives.

In this blog, I want to share the knowledge I've gradually accumulated with you and take small steps together towards financial understanding.

This blog will grow alongside you and me, progressing from the smallest beginnings to ever-greater goals. Of course, we also want to continue enjoying our time at university and make the most of these years. I'm really looking forward to our journey together into the world of finance!

All love

Anna
